Affix double-sided adhesive tape in shaded area of illuminated door sill molding control unit (1).

The bonding surfaces must be free of dust and grease in order to prevent adhesion problems.

Remove protective foil from double-sided adhesive tape.

Position illuminated door sill molding control unit (1) on footrest (24), bolt on with bolt (26) and nut and press on firmly in vicinity of
double-sided adhesive tape.

Connect black 33-pin coupling (2) of supply wiring harness (15) to illuminated door sill molding control unit (1).

Connect ground line of supply wiring harness (15) to right front footwell ground point (W15/7).

Connect white 6-pin connector (16) of supply wiring harness (15) to white 6-pin coupling (17) of illuminated door sill molding wiring harness
(14).

Route brown/red CAN line (27) along vehicle wiring harness to electrical connector of right vehicle floor interior CAN potential distributor
(X30/33).

Connect black 2-pin CAN line coupling (13) of supply wiring harness to electrical connector of right vehicle floor interior CAN potential
