LOW RANGE LAMP ERRONEOUSLY INDICATED

The transfer case control module in the affected vehicles must be replaced due to the possibility of the Low Range indicator lamp remaining illuminated
after starting the vehicle at low ambient temperatures. Illumination of the lamp may be accompanied by transfer case or transmission control module
Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC's). Replace the transfer case control module during the vehicle's next service visit.

Note:

There is no change in part number. The new component is identified by a GREEN part label. A green sticker will also be supplied with the new
control module and the label must be installed on the inside of the fuse box lid above the spare fuses. This will be used as verification in the field that
the replacement has been performed.

Immediately after receiving the dealer parts return report, the removed transfer case control module must be sent promptly to:
