Selecting the country

The following country variants are available in the trip computer control module (N41):

Germany
England
Spain
France
USA

To select a country:

Press the Mode button (right button, N41s2) until one of the country codes GEr, ENG, ESP, Fr or USA appears on the display.
Press the Reset button (left button, N41s1) until the country code for the required country appears on the display.
Press the Mode button (right button, N41s2) to leave the setting mode

Units

The country-specific units are also set when the country is selected.
A distinction is made between UK and US gallons.

Compass (route)

The route is displayed using the first letter of the points of the compass. The directions are displayed in the language of the particular country.

Setting the Compass Zone, Function

Setting the compass zone (declination)

Determine the compass zone (1 - 15) using the zone maps shown below.
Ignition: ON
Press the Mode button (right button, N41s2) until the compass appears on the display of the trip computer (N41). Press the Reset button (left button,
N41s2) to jump to the zone setting mode
Press the Reset button until the number of the compass zone required (1 - 15) is displayed
Press the Mode button twice to return to the compass display and save the displayed compass zone.

Examples

San Francisco:
On the zone map of North America San Francisco is located in compass zone 4.

Berlin:
On the zone map of Europe and Africa Berlin is located in compass zone 8.
