AR77.20-P-0510GH Remove/Install Folding Headliner of Lamella Roof

Removing And Installing Folding Headliner Of Lamella Roof

- with CODE (417a) Lamella roof

Removal

Remove headliner

Close lamella roof completely

Remove roof reinforcement (3)

Unscrew retaining plate (8), for this purpose loosen front attachment point from 9th lamella

Pull Velcro strip (2a) for folding headliner (1) off of Velcro strip (2b) on 9th lamella

NOTE:  Loosen screws in middle of Velcro strip (if present)

Open bracket (4) on lamellas with aid of pliers on lugs upto center frame section (7) and unhook bows (5)

Open lamella roof approx. 150-200 mm

Open brackets (4) previously covered by center frame section (7) and unhook bows (5)

Remove all bows (5) previously unhooked from folding headliner (1)

10

Reclose lamella roof completely and pull detached rear strip below center frame section (7) through toward front

CAUTION:  When pulling through, pay attention to kinks in folding headliner

Open brackets (4) up to front and unhook each bow (5)

NOTE:  It is not necessary to remove the remaining bows (5) from the folding headliner

Unscrew mounting screws (6) from retaining rail (9) and remove folding headliner (1)
