Adjusting Seal On Tilting/Sliding Roof Cover

- with CODE (414) Electric glass tilting/sliding roof

Check adjustment of tilting/sliding roof cover

Check seat of seal (1, B) on tilting/sliding roof cover

NOTE:
-

The distance between the seal and the tilting/sliding roof cover should be approx. 0.75

-

To check pull feeler gauge or credit card between seal and tilting/sliding roof opening

-

The feeler gauge or credit card should make tight contact in the front area, however, should not pinch. In the rear area and the rear comers less
resistance should be felt.

Open tilting/sliding roof cover or move to pop-up position

Adjust seal (1, B) with long wedge (C) or roller (2)

CAUTION:
-

Do not use sharp objects for adjustment.

-

Seal can be damaged.

-

If the seal Is positioned too tightly on the tilting/sliding roof opening, the tilting/sliding roof operation can be obstructed.

NOTE:
-

Increase gap between seal and tilting/sliding roof opening:
-

Move roller (2) along seal (1, B) with slight pressure

-

Increase gap between seal and tilting/sliding roof opening:
-

Press seal (1 ,B) with long wedge (C) between clamping channel (A) and tilting/sliding roof cover toward outside uniformly from top to
bottom along joint with pressure. Thereby move long wedge (C) at an angle to the joint.

Decrease gap in range of radius: Use suitable rounded plastic wedge.
