REINFORCEMENT TO CENTER REAR SEAT BELT ANCHOR

This service campaign has been initiated in order to provide product enhancement via a reinforcement plate to the center rear seat belt anchor (2, Figure
1).

Prior to performing any work, please review the entire document carefully to assure familiarization with the procedure. Neglecting to follow this
suggestion may result in unnecessary seat damage. Additionally, to ensure occupant safety, it is imperative that all fasteners be properly torqued where
specified.

Please complete this modification at the next service.

Prior to performing this Service Campaign, please check VMI to insure the vehicle is involved and to determine if the vehicle has been previously
repaired.

PROCEDURE

1.

Remove folding rear backrest (see WIS: AR91.12-P-1720GI) and place removed backrest in the trunk area.

2.

Fold back and secure rear of seat cushion with (3" wide) masking tape (1 Figure 1) to expose seat belt anchor mount (2, Figure 1). Please use
caution to prevent damage to seat cover.

3.

Remove assembly lock washer from seat belt anchor and buckle assembly, then remove anchor bolt. Observe proper seat orientation of seat belt
