On vehicles with code (528) COMAND with DVD changer, the "Display compass" function is selected via the "Navigation" hardkey on the buttons of
the COMAND controller unit.

The compass is displayed on the multifunction display (A1p13) of the instrument cluster (A1) by selecting the "Offroad display" menu via the left
multifunction steering wheel button group or the right multifunction steering wheel button group.

Basic telephony function

If the "Telephone (Tel)" base function is activated, the default screen appears. The following two variants are available:

Incoming telephone calls are signaled acoustically and visually on the COMAND controller unit display. Selections and settings can be made using the
control buttons of the COMAND controller unit or the left multifunction steering wheel button group and the right multifunction steering wheel button
group and using the voice control of the VCS (with code (527) COMAND APS (with navigation) or with code (512) COMAND APS with DVD
changer).

Control of audio signals (sound settings)

The audio signals (sound settings) are controlled using the "Sound" menu item in the relevant basic function. The default screen appears.
