Engine Oil Leak at Oil Filter Housing

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of oil leaking in the area of the lower mounting bolt of the oil filter housing, an updated
housing should be installed.

Note:

The updated housing can be obtained by contacting the MBUSA Enhanced Diagnostic Assistance Center (EDAC).

Follow repair instructions in WIS document AR18.20-P-3471RMG. The updated housing can be identified by the additional seals and a machined recess
for the lower mounting bolt (Figures 1 through 3).
