Sunroof / Moonroof Cable: Adjustments

Press tilting/sliding roof switch to "roof up", until tilting/sliding roof panel is completely lifted.

Move adjustment knob (Fig. 4) to adjustment position, pull out against stop and then press in approx. 3 mm.

Turn adjustment knob (Fig. 5) until centering bolt (shop-made) can be inserted completely through the hole in the mounting plate into the control
unit behind and the notch on the adjustment knob points in the direction of the hole.

Press adjustment knob in and remove centering bolt.

CAUTION:  When the centering bolt is inserted or the adjustment knob is pulled out DO NOT actuate the tilting/sliding roof motor. The control
unit can be damaged or the adjustment lost.

Check closing operation, if required move adjustment knob back into adjustment position and perform fine adjustment by turning knob.

Turning knob to right = sliding roof forward.
Turning knob to left = sliding roof back.

NOTE: One rotation of the knob changes the position of the tilting/sliding roof by approx. 45 mm.

Press adjustment knob in and actuate tilting/sliding roof switch.

-

Reinstall panelling in trunk.

-

Reinstall headliner.
