Power Window Control Module: Service and Repair

Replacing Convenience Control Module

Removal

Trunk carpeting

remove.

Battery cover 

remove.

Right tail lamp cover

open.

Clips (1) on aide panel lining

press off.

Right tail lamp cover

close.

Spare wheel well

open.

Wrench for wheel nuts

remove.

Clips below this 

press off.

Side panel lining

remove.

Negative battery pole

disconnect.

Convenience control module (N57)

unscrew.

Connectors of convenience control module (N57)

unplug.

NOTE:  First of all unplug connectors C, D, E and F, then press off connectors A and B with the push and push aid (press to outside).

Installation

Installation is performed in the reverse order.

NOTE:  All the windows must be re-normalized. This is done by closing all the windows with the power window switches (not automatic raising) and
allowing them to run to block for 1-2 s.
