Windshield Washer Spray Nozzle: Service and Repair

Component Identification

Removal 
Engine hood  

Open and position vertical.

Fastening clips (1) 

Remove using special tool, part no. 140 589 18 63 00.

NOTE:  Insert special tool as far as the stop, turn downwards 90° and remove fastening clips.

Washer nozzles (2) 

Pull downwards.

Washing agent hose (3) 

Detach.

Plug (4) for nozzle heating 

Detach.

Installation 
Washing agent hose (3) 

Push on.

Plug for nozzles heating (4) 

Plug in.

Washer nozzle (2) 

Insert with the retaining lugs first.

Fastening dips (1) 

Press in up to point of engagement.

Engine hood 

Close.

Function check 

Perform.

Adjustment 

If required, correct using special tool, part no. 110 589 02 63 00.

NOTE:  Washer nozzles are basically adjusted by the manufacturer. Note correct location (left, right, central).
