Sunroof / Moonroof Weatherstrip: Service and Repair

Sliding Roof Panel Seal

Remove wind deflector. See: Roof and Associated Components/Sunroof / Moonroof/Sunroof / Moonroof Windguard/Service and Repair

Loosen screws (1) on retaining bar (2).

-

Pull seal (6) pull out of retaining bars (2, 3, 4 and 5)

CAUTION:  Pull the seal (6) out of the retaining bar (2) carefully because counter hooks are located on the retaining bar.

Press retaining bar (2) up until the spacers are against the roof and tighten screws (1).

Press seal (6) into retaining bars (3, 4 and 5) at points marked with arrows first with ribbing pointing up, because retaining bars are offset slightly
at the corners.

-

Reinstall in opposite order.
