AR68.20-P-4800M Remove/Install Floor Covering In Rear

Activate the service mode in the TELE AID emergency call system

DANGER:
-

Risk of explosion from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic bums from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury through
burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries.

No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking. Wear protective gloves, acid-resistant clothing and safety glasses. Pour battery electrolyte
only into suitable and appropriately marked containers

Disconnect ground cable of battery

NOTE:
-

Turn key in electronic ignition switch EIS into position "0" Key cannot be withdrawn

Vehicle fitted with code (889) Keyless go: Switch off engine, remove keyless go cards from the vehicle and keep outside the range of the
transmitter

Installation- Read out fault memory after connecting, adjust time display on combination instrument, code radio, normalize power window
and activate steering angle sensor
Vehicles with stationary heater: adjust time display on stationary heater

Remove front seats

Remove center console

Remove rear air conditioning unit

Remove paneling on B-pillar

Remove rear seat cushion

8.1 Remove center upholstery from bucket seats
8.2 Remove right ventilation duct cover (5) and left ventilation duct cover (6) in rear

Unclip right rear footwell illumination (7) and left rear footwell illumination (8)

NOTE:  Unplug connectors

Lift rear floor covering (9) and remove toward rear

Install in the reverse order

Render electrical system operational
