It is not necessary to spread lubricant with wooden spatula (Figure 2).

Adjust seat to the front end stop position.

Repeat step 2.

Repeatedly move seat adjustment back and forth between end stop positions in order to evenly distribute the lubricant.

Condition 2: Creaking noises while cornering. Affected vehicles up to VIN end no. A420055.

Repair 2:

1.

Remove front seat cushion, refer to WIS document AR91.10-P-1070M up to MY 02 or AR91.10-P-1070MB from MY 03.

2.

Press the two bushings on the outboard side (Figure 3, 3) out of the seat cushion guide (Figure 3, 4).
