AR83.50-P-9110M Remove/Install Rear Heat Exchanger

AR83.50-P-9110M Remove/Install Rear Heat Exchanger

- with CODE (582) Rear air conditioning

DANGER:

-

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

-

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 degrees C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour
coolant into beverage bottles.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection.

Reduce pressure in cooling system

NOTE:  To do this, turn radiator cap into position "1" and reseal

Drain coolant, pour in

Remove rear AC control module (N22/4)

Remove center console (1)

Remove connector at rear evaporator temperature sensor

Unclip wiring harness (2) at top part of housing

Unclip 6 clips (3)

Remove top part of housing (4)

Unscrew bolt (5), close and remove heat exchanger (6)

Separation point of coolant lines at rear air conditioning heat exchanger:  8 N.m

Replace receiver/drier

Install in the reverse order.

NOTE:  After completing the operations reset engine coolant level and perform leak test.
