Installation:  Replace hexagon collared nut and tighten in stages until the previously measured friction torque is obtained.

Installation:  Secure twelve-point or hexagon collared nut on drive pinion joint flange.

Pull off joint flange (41)

Press out radial seal (42) using a suitable tool

CAUTION: Installation:  Replace radial sealing ring and coat sealing lip with universal hypoid gear oil

Replace final-drive unit (55) vent

Install in the reverse order

Check rear final-drive unit oil level and correct if necessary.
