Repair Materials

Installation shown on left front entry on model 221.0.

1.

Loosen edge guard (5) in area of door sill molding according to picture.

2.1. If present, remove protective foil installed at factory, from standard outer front door sill molding (6).
3.

Clean surface on standard outer front door sill molding (6) with cleaning agent specified.
Surface on standard outer front door sill molding (6) must be dry, free of dust and grease.

4.

Remove protective foil (7) on adhesive strips from rear of accessory outer front door sill molding (2).

5.

Position accessory outer front door sill molding (2) at end of standard outer front door sill molding (6) according to illustration (see arrow) and
glue to standard outer front door sill molding (6).
Uniformly press accessory outer rear door sill molding (2) to standard outer front door sill molding (6).

6.

Fasten edge guard (5) in area of door sill molding.

7.

Repeat steps 1 to 6 on right front entry.

Installation shown on left rear entry on model 221.0.

8.

Loosen edge guard (8) in area of door sill molding according to picture.

9.1. If present, remove protective foil installed at factory, from standard outer rear door sill molding (9).
10. Clean surface on standard outer rear door sill molding (9) with cleaning agent specified.

Surface on standard outer rear door sill molding (9) must be dry, free of dust and grease.

11. Remove protective foil (7) on adhesive strips from rear of accessory outer rear door sill molding (4).
12. Position accessory outer rear door sill molding (4) at end of standard outer rear door sill molding (9) according to illustration (see arrow) and

glue to standard outer rear door sill molding (9).
Uniformly press accessory outer rear door sill molding (4) to standard outer rear door sill molding (9).

13. Fasten edge guard (8) in area of door sill molding.
14. Repeat steps 8 to 13 on right rear entry.
