Rear Air Conditioning Housing (Models with Rear A/C)

Rear Air Conditioning Housing

Purpose/Design

The rear A/C housing serves for holding the following components
-

Blower (1)

-

Evaporator (2)

-

Heater core (3)

-

Air distribution flap (5)

-

Air distribution flap actuator motor

and thereby forms one complete unit.
The rear A/C housing provides for distribution of the air required for ventilation of the rear passenger compartment to the air outlets depending on the
desired temperature in the rear passenger compartment.

The air distribution depends on various operating states such as:

Normal operation

-

A/C operation

-

Heater operation
