Squeaking Noises When Steering
If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of squeaking noises when steering, the cause may be that the sealing bellows (boot) of
the lower balljoint could be torn due to excessively high initial tension (sealing bellows does not rotate on balljoint shaft). To resolve, in the event
of visible damage to the sealing bellows, replace the balljoint as described in WIS document AR33.20-P-0440I. After replacing the supporting
joint, ensure that the sealing bellows does not rotate together with the balljoint stud when the wheels are steered.
