All Model 221 Vehicles 
Equipped with SA Code 233 (Distronic Plus) and 806 (Modification Year 2006)

Park Assist Does Not Function

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of the Park Assist displaying all of the following symptoms, this may be due to the software
in the radar control unit.

^ Park Assist indicator bars not extinguishing (even over speeds of 10 mph)

^ Park Assist does not function

^ At least one of below fault codes stored or present

Fault Code 6910 = "A86/1b2 (Left inner radar sensor, front bumper), A86/1b3 (Right inner radar sensor, front bumper): Check installation
position of sensor"

^

Fault Code 6980 = "A86/2b2 (Right inner radar sensor, rear bumper), A86/2b3 (Left inner radar sensor, rear bumper): Check installation position
of sensor", stored or present

To resolve, using Star Diagnosis (SDS) version 01/08 or later, update the software in the radar control unit via SDS menu path: Control units --> Drive
--> SGR - Radar sensors control unit --> Control unit adaptations --> Control module programming.
