Vehicle Level
Front Axle ........................................................................................................................................................................................................... 6.9° ±1.5°
Maximum deviation between left & right:
When checking ............................................................................................................................................................................................... 0.75°
When calibrating w/Star Diagnosis .................................................................................................................................................................. 0.5°
Rear Axle ........................................................................................................................................................................................................... -0.6° ±1.0°
Maximum deviation between left & right:
When checking ................................................................................................................................................................................................. 0.5°
When calibrating w/Star Diagnosis .................................................................................................................................................................. 0.3°
NOTE:
To measure vehicle level use (86) Electronic inclination measuring instrument (CM 9606)
Front Toe-in ....................................................................................................................................................................................................... 0°15' ±10'
Toe At 20° Turn ................................................................................................................................................................................................. 1°34' ±30'
Front Camber (at vehicle level)
5.4° .............................................................................................................................................................................................................. -0°58' ±20'
5.9° .............................................................................................................................................................................................................. -0°54' ±20'
6.4° .............................................................................................................................................................................................................. -0°50' ±20'
6.9° .............................................................................................................................................................................................................. -0°47' ±20'
7.4° .............................................................................................................................................................................................................. -0°43' ±20'
7.9° .............................................................................................................................................................................................................. -0°38' ±20'
8.4° .............................................................................................................................................................................................................. -0°34' ±20'
Maximum Deviation ............................................................................................................................................................................................. 0°20'
NOTE:
Measure front axle level and obtain camber value from the table. The front axle level values are displayed by the electronic level
measuring instrument in decimal degrees [°]. Example: Front axle level (6.4°) = camber value (-0°50' ± 20')
Front Caster
Procedure:
Measure front and rear axle level and obtain the front axle caster value from the table
Example: Front axle level [-0.8°] + Rear axle level [-1.1°] = Caster value [5°42']
Deduct the correction value (K1) of the corresponding measuring system from the TABLES of caster value and compare result with the measured
caster value.
When measuring caster with the electronic measuring systems, the correction values (K1) below are only to be used until the software release of
the corresponding measuring system is updated for the model series 220
Measuring system & Correction value
Beissbarth 3'
FMC 21'
Bosch/Hunter 23'
Example:
Measuring system: FMC
Correction value (K1): 21'
Measured front axle level: 6.9°
