General information

With the garage door opener system, various receivers for door opening and closing system can be activated.

The garage door opener system consists of:

Garage door opener transmitter (A67n2)

Garage door opener button 1 (A67s1),

^

Garage door opener button 2 (A67s2),

^

Garage door opener button 3 (A67s3),

^

Garage door opener indicator lamp (A67e4)

These components are integrated in the inside rearview mirror unit (A67).

Function requirements:

Circuit 15 On

Function

If one of the buttons is actuated, the signal associated with this memory location is transmitted and then activates the associated drive for the
corresponding opening and closing system.

Programming

Up to 3 remote controls can be learned in.

Procedure

Press one of the buttons and hold down

^

The indicator lamp starts flashing after approx. 20 s (1 Hz).

^

Continue to press corresponding button and hold remote control for opening and closing system with button pressed until the indicator lamp starts
to flash rapidly.

In order to save the vehicle battery, the transmitter switches off automatically, if programming is not accomplished after approx. 100 seconds.

Erasing memory locations

The memory locations are erased when the outer buttons 1 and 3 are pressed simultaneously for t > 20 s.
Feedback is accomplished by the indicator lamp flashing rapidly. The transmitter now transmits in the standard mode.

Compatibility

If the opening and closing system is not compatible with the garage door opener system, a universal receiver can be installed (e.g. in the garage) which
reacts to the signals in the Standard mode.
