Position orange length comparison marking of branch-off line (7f) of rental vehicle wiring harness (7) so that it is exactly aligned with wiring
harness bracket (23b) of ground line (23a) (see arrow in enlarged detail) and fix branch-off line (7f) in place at on-board wiring harnesses.
In vehicles with COMAND APS (with navigation system) (527) and/or in vehicles in which a two-way radio antenna (A2/49a3) is installed on
the vehicle roof, the strapped-down GPS antenna line (24a) of branch-off line (7f) will be installed later on.
In vehicles without COMAND APS (with navigation system) (527), in which no two-way radio antenna (A2/49a3) is installed on the vehicle
roof, the strapped-down GPS antenna line (24a) of branch-off line (7f) must be strapped down to the on-board wiring harnesses next to the
battery.
