1. Glue two window rubber window spacers (2) to the left and right body flange.

Rubber window spacers (2) are 5 mm high. Dimension (B) is approx. 100 mm.

2. Form five plasticine balls with a diameter of 5 mm and position uniformly distributed over the entire length of the top splinter guard strip (3).

The plasticine balls later serve for determining the gap between the top splinter guard strip (3) and rear-end window (1).

3. Carefully install rear-end window (1) with suction lifting device and suction cup tools and align centered between C-pillars and dimension (A).

Dimension (A) determines the distance between the top edge of the shaped rubber gasket and rear edge of the roof. Suction lifting device, cup
suction tool.

4. Check the transition (D) between the rear-end window (1) and rear edge of the roof with a straight edge (7).

The transition (D) should be flush and should not deviate more than 1 mm upward or downward.

5. Check gap between side splinter guard strips (4) and rear-end window (1).

Gap should be 1 to 3 mm.
