Component Identification

Control points

The rear side roller blind can be operated via the following control points:

in the driver-side switch group via the:
-

Left rear power window and side window roller blind switch (S20/1s3)

-

Right rear power window and side window roller blind switch (S20/1s4)

^

in the left rear door switch group via the:
- Right rear power window and side window roller blind switch (S21/21s1)
- Left rear power window and side window roller blind switch (S21/21s3)

^

in the right rear door switch group via then:
-

Right rear power window and side window roller blind switch (S21/22s1)

-

Left rear power window and side window roller blind switch (S21/22s3)

It is also possible to operate the opposite rear side roller blind via the left rear door switch group and the right rear door switch group.

Function requirements

Circuit 15R On

Rear side roller blind normalized

^

For actuation via switch in rear: Child safety lock not active

Up to 5 min. after circuit 15R OFF, the rear side roller blinds can be actuated if the front doors are not yet open.

Function

Actuation of the power window switch and rear side window roller blind in the driver-side switch group is read in by the left front door control unit via
the front door LIN.
Actuation of the power window switch and the left and right rear side window roller blinds is read in by the corresponding door control unit via the rear
door LIN.
