Component Identification

Location

The rear roller sun blind motor is located below the rear shelf.

Task

The rear roller sun blind motor adjusts the rear window roller blinds electrically.

Design

The rear roller sun blind motor consists of an electric motor with two integrated Hall sensors.

Function

The rear roller sun blind motor is actuated by the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2). The Hall sensor signals are evaluated for
position measurement and for realization of the lockup recognition by the rear SAM control unit.
