Engine Mount: Service and Repair
Engine Carrier

Preparation

-

Front engine compartment panel at bottom removed.

Procedure

-

Remove fan shroud ring, place over fan, attach.

-

Unscrew top engine mount bolt (2), screw on

Tighten to: 55 Nm..

-

Unscrew bottom engine mount bolt (1), screw on.

Tighten to: 25 Nm.

-

Raise  engine at left or right (about 30 mm).

-

Take off shield (4), install (pay attention to installation note).

-

Unscrew engine carrier bolts (6), screw on.

-

Take off engine carrier (5), install

Tighten to:

M8 bolts: 25 Nm
M10 bolts: 40 Nm.

Installation Note: The anti-twist lock (pin) in the engine mount must engage in the opening in the shield (4) and in the retaining slot in the engine
carrier.
