Place the VRM into the second bracket recess and secure it with two M3.5 x 8 Torx screws (Figure 11).

Proceed as follows:

If installing the CD changer, proceed to step 17.

If installing the telephone only, skip to step 18.

Main bracket assembly - telephone & CD

a) Place the CD base bracket (basket) over the two studs in the left side trunk well bottom and secure it with two M6 nuts.

b) Secure the top of the bracket with two # 12 sheet metal screws into the longitudinal rail clips (Figure 12).

c.) Secure the telephone component subassembly to the back of the CD 'drop-in' bracket with two M5 x 6 machine screws (Figure 13).
