Apply steady inward pressure while gently rotating the lever toward you until it 'clicks' into place (Figure 29).
F. Installing the CD Changer

Skip to step 2 if the telephone has already been installed.
1.
Place the CD base bracket (basket) over the two studs on the left side trunk well bottom and secure it with two M6 nuts. Secure the bracket top
with two # 12 sheet metal screws into the longitudinal rail clips (Figure 12).
2.
Install the CD 'drop-in' bracket cover.
3.
Engage the plastic hinges over the flange on the bracket top edge and then lock the hinges by rolling them toward the back.
4.
Connect the 3-pole electrical and fiber optic connectors to the back of the CD changer.
5.
Carefully lower the completed assembly into the well and secure it with four M5 x 10 machine screws (Figure 30).
G. Version Coding and Diagnostic Testing
1.
Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS (SDS) to the vehicle and perform the version coding outlined.
