Mount the antenna switch on the back wall of the left trunk well by:

a. loosening the nut securing the bumper to the rear of the body

b. sliding the antenna switch assembly between the body and washer

c. tightening the nut

Disconnect the mini-UHF coupling point from the power antenna to the Tele Aid secondary antenna input (Figure 6).

NOTICE!

There are two pair of mini-UHF couplings:

Pair 1

The coupling to be disconnected is that where both ends come from the main harness leading to the rear and are joined together.

Pair 2

DO NOT disconnect the coupling (A, Figure 6) where one end comes from the bumper antenna (B, Figure 6); the bumper antenna can be located
by following the cable coming from the bumper just below the antenna switch mounting point. This is the primary Tele Aid antenna and failure of
the Tele Aid system will result if disconnected.

Route the female mini-UHF from step 4 to the antenna switch assembly and connect it to the lead labeled Emergency (Figure 6).

Route the male mini-UHF from step 4 to the antenna switch assembly and connect it to the jack labeled Antenna (Figure 6).

7.

Connect the 4-pole electrical connector to the antenna switch (Figure 6).
