When the hydraulic cylinder is pressurized on both sides, the currently effective force on the lock is reduced so that the opening operation can be
initiated by the motion of the hydraulic cylinder in a manner easy on the material.

Location

In the center of the reversing mechanism for rotary tumblers in the front of the vario roof.

Task

Locking and unlocking the vario roof by actuating the mechanical linkage to the left and right rotary tumblers.

Design

Double-acting differential cylinder (rod-side and piston-side pressure connections).

NOTE:  The gasket is damaged when actuated without external stop.

Function

When the hydraulic cylinder is pressurized on one side, the hydraulic cylinder rod extends or retracts. When the piston rod extends, the rotary tumblers
open.
