Task

The storage compartment air vent (1) serves to ventilate the storage compartment in the center console.

Function

The air direction can be controlled via the separately adjustable slats at the two center nozzles (2, 3) using the adjusting lever as desired, either upwards,
downwards to the left or right. The selector for the center nozzle air quantity (4) can be used to continuously vary a common opening or closing of the
center nozzles.
The center nozzles are set to automatic mode if the warm air button (7) or the cold air button (8) on the AAC center and lateral nozzles pushbutton unit
(N18/2) is not pressed and the ( LED off). In automatic mode a regulated flow of air exits the center nozzles, which is somewhat cooler than the
temperature value set on the temperature selector wheel. This enables a stratification of the center plane to be achieved (warm feet, cool head) .
