DANGER:

Risk of explosion from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of caustic burns to
eyes and skin from battery electrolyte or from handling damaged lead-acid batteries

No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking,

Wear add-resistant gloves, clothing and eye protection. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Check the condition of the battery

Preconditions for generator testing

Connect the multimeter (003) as shown in the diagram
4
Set the headlamps on dipped beam for 1 minute

Switch off the headlamps

Check the quiescent voltage of the on-board electrical system battery (G1)

Nominal values >= 12.6 Volt
-
Nominal value < 12.5 Volt
