Maintenance Required Lamp/Indicator: Service and Repair

Displaying Remaining Mileage, Remaining Time or Service Overdue While Standing or Moving at Driver Request:

-

Activate instrument cluster.

-

Turn starter switch to position "2" or drive position.

-

Press reset button (O) twice within 1 second: The current remaining mileage, current remaining time or current service overdue time or mileage is
displayed.

Displaying Oil Level at Driver Request:

-

After turning starter switch to position "2" wait 10 s until "DISPLAY OIL LEVEL" and oil can symbol (or oil can and clock symbol) appear.

Press reset button (O) twice within 1 second: The message "OIL LEVEL OKAY" (or "O.K.") or the current quantity of oil missing appears. If
correct measurement of the oil level is not possible, the text "OBSERVE WAITING TIME" (or the clock symbol or the oil can symbol; clock
symbol flashes) appears.

Resetting ASSYST (Active Service System) Following Oil Change (Oil Change Reset) on Instrument Cluster:

-

Move starter switch to position "2".

-

Within 4 seconds after moving starter switch to position "2":
Press reset button (O) twice within (1) second.
This activates the display for service requirement for 10 s.

Within these 10 seconds move starter switch to position "0".
The service requirement is then displayed again.

-

Press reset button (O) and hold down.

-

Move starter switch to position "2".

-

Continue to hold down reset button (O) (approx. 10 seconds), until signal tone sounds and new initial mileage appears on display.
