telephone and navigation data from COMAND for the left multifunction display (A1p13) in the instrument cluster (A1) as well as the time via this

The CAN MCNet, which is independent of the interior CAN, is used for the data exchange of the COMAND operating, display and controller unit
(A40/3) with the optional TV tuner (A2/42) components

General

The COMAND operating, display and controller unit (A40/3) is the central control for the entertainment and communication systems integrated in the
vehicle.

The following subfunctions, which are described in separate documents, are included in the COMAND operating, display and controller unit:

The displays and menus for the COMAND operating, display and controller unit are generated in the COMAND operating, display and controller unit.

The COMAND operating, display and controller unit acts as a gateway. It routes signals from the interior CAN to the Media Oriented System Transport
(MOST) components and thus forms the communications interface.

The COMAND operating, display and controller unit communicates with the following control units via MOST:
