As long as the MB-Info call is active, the light emitting diode (LED) integrated into the MB-Info button flashes. This is also displayed in the instrument
cluster (A1) and on the display on the COMAND operating, display and controller unit (A40/3).

In the event of an MB-Info call, other vehicle-related services (e.g. vehicle remote door unlock) and, for vehicles with code (389) Mobile phone
preinstallation with universal interface, USA/Canada, any active mobile phone connections are interrupted.

In the event of failure of the telephone antenna (e.g. defective due to rollover), the emergency call system control unit automatically uses the TELE AID
backup antenna (A2/50) to transmit the mobile phone signals or data.

Function sequence for remote destination feed or points of interest (POI)

During an MB-Info call, for example, the address of a hotel can be loaded into the navigation module in the COMAND operating, display and controller
unit.
The service center transmits the address of the hotel by means of mobile phone signals or data to the emergency call system control unit over the
following path:

Frequency switchover control unit, with code (389) Mobile phone preinstallation with universal interface, USA/Canada, and direct line

The customer confirms receipt of the hotel address and can then start the navigation.

The displays for Remote Destination Feed or Points of Interest (POI) are shown by the emergency call control unit on the display of the COMAND
operating, display and controller unit over the following path:

MB-Info call

The "MB-Info" service allows the customer to get in contact with a DaimlerChrysler service center. This information service can provide the user with
general current information (e.g. on traffic conditions, on possible detours) or additional DC-specific information. This service is primarily a voice
service and is provided via the emergency call system control unit (N123/4). When the user presses the MB-Info and breakdown assistance button group
(S93/6), the service is activated.
