Spark Plug Tube Seal - Valve Cover: Service and Repair

Removing And Installing Spark Plug Shaft Seals

Remove cylinder head cover

NOTE:  Installation:  check for leaks with engine running

Examine gasket of cylinder head cover to ensure it is correctly seated

Use a screwdriver (arrow) to prise out spark plug shaft seal (1)

CAUTION:  Do not damage mounting hole.

Clean mounting hole

Use drift (01) to knock in spark plug shaft seal (1) as far as the stop.

Install in the reverse order.
