Harsh Engagement When Shifting

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicle of harsh engagement when shifting from 1st to 2nd gear or from 2nd to 1st gear, the cause
may be with the SCN coding data of the transmission control module. To resolve, follow the below steps.

1.

Perform a new SCN coding of the transmission control module (N15/3). Procedure for SCN coding can be found on Star TekInfo --> EDAC -->
722.9 Tree --> SCN Coding and Flashing for 722.9

2.

Confirm the variant coding of the transmission is "XDMJ" via the following path in SDS: Control unit adaptations --> SCN coding --> Display
coding data: Coding

Note: 

The allowable labor operations should be used when submitting a warranty claim for this repair
