Over the last several years, Ford Motor Company has been installing halogen headlamp bulbs in its new vehicles. Halogen lamps provide an improved
product feature since they provide more brightness and consume less power than incandescent lamps. An incandescent lamp of the same size and shape
can be used to replace a halogen lamp on non-warrantable services if the customer so desires. However, the bulb will be less bright and appear more
yellow in color than a halogen lamp.
