Grille - Loose or Missing Screws

GRILLE - LOOSE OR MISSING SCREWS

LINCOLN-MERCURY 1984-85 GRAND MARQUIS

Some 1984-85 Grand Marquis vehicles may exhibit loose (or missing) grille attaching screws. This condition may be caused by grille attaching tabs that
are not in specification.

To service these vehicles, replace the (6) existing "J" nuts with new design "J" nuts (N802538-S101). Tighten the six grille attaching screws to 9-18
in.lbs.
