5. Using the special tool, remove the crankshaft pulley.

Installation 

1. Prior to applying sealant, clean the sealing surfaces with metal surface c leaner to remove all residues that may interfere with the sealants ability to

adhere.

2. Apply silicone gasket and sealant to the front of the crankshaft on the inside diameter surface of the crankshaft pulley at the keyway.

3. NOTE:  Use the washer of the new crankshaft pulley bolt for installation.

Using the special tool, install the crankshaft pulley.

4. Apply silicone gasket and sealant to the crankshaft pulley bolt.

5. NOTE:  Use a suitable strap wrench to prevent the crankshaft pulley from turning.

NOTE:  Use a new crankshaft pulley bolt.

Install the crankshaft pulley bolt.

Install a suitable strap wrench to hold the crankshaft pulley.

Install the crankshaft pulley bolt in four stages:

-

Stage 1: 120 Nm 

-

Stage 2: Back off the bolt one full turn. 

-

Stage 3: 50 Nm 

-

Stage 4: 90 degrees 

6. Install the accessory drive belt.
