Removal 

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

2. Disconnect the upper heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) electrical connector.

3. Remove the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve from the intake manifold.

-

Loosen the EGR pipe.

4. Remove the right-hand front wheel. 

5. Remove the right-hand fender splash shields.
