8. Inspect front shock absorber.
Rear
At regular intervals, the following rear suspension checks should be made:
1. Check for evidence of fluid leaks on rear shock strut. (A light film of fluid is permissible. Verify fluid is not from other sources.)
2. Check rear shock strut operation.
3. Check condition of upper and lower rear suspension arm bushings and rear suspension tension strut and bushings.
4. Leaking or damaged air spring.
5. Replace any damaged or worn components.
Wheel Turning Angle
When the inside wheel is turned 20°, the turning angle of the outside wheel should be 19.73°. The turning angle cannot be adjusted directly because it is
a result of the combination of caster, camber and toe adjustments and should therefore, be measured only after these adjustments have been made. If the
turning angle does not measure to specification, check the suspension, front sub-frame or steering parts for a bent condition.
