PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) TRANSCEIVER
Removal and Installation
1. Remove the ignition lock cylinder.
2. NOTE: If necessary, use a suitable tool to gently pry the 2 locking tabs outward far enough to release the transceiver from the steering column.
Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the PATS transceiver.
3. NOTE: Replacement of the PATS transceiver does not require the PATS keys to be programmed into the PCM again.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
