Per Figure 12, rework the crankcase vent hose assembly using a 3/8 inch to 1/4 inch diameter reducer hose (E3FZ-9G297-A). Install the 3/8 inch
diameter end of the hose to the Hot Idle Compensator (HIC) valve (or to the PCV valve for non-HIC applications).
