Mariner 2WD V6-3.0L VIN 1 (2006)
5. Tighten the cable adjustment ring by turning it clockwise ¼ turn.
6. Rotate the Z-bracket clockwise over the shift cable end fitting.

Tighten to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).
