1. Remove the Power Transfer Unit (PTU). For additional information, refer to Power Transfer Unit (PTU)  See: Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Transfer Case - Power Transfer Unit (PTU) - Removal.

2. Remove the bolt and the vent tube.

3. Remove the 12 bolts and the PTU cover.
