A hard starting condition can be caused by an improperly wired connector at the ignition coil.
When a hard starting condition is experienced, the following steps should be taken to insure that the ignition coil wires are not crossed in the connector
before performing normal (hard starting) diagnostic procedures.
1.
Locate the ignition coil mounted under the hood on the front of the left hand shock tower.
