PAINT - EXTERIOR - TWO NEW COLORS WILL BE ADDED TO LTD/MARQUIS CAR LINES PRODUCED AT THE ATLANTA ASSEMBLY
PLANT EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 25, 1985
FORD 1985 LTD
LINCOLN-MERCURY 1985 MARQUIS
The Atlanta Assembly Plant will be adding two (2) new colors to the 1985 LTD/Marquis vehicle line and deleting two (2) colors.
New colors being added are Silver Metallic, paint code 14, which is base coat/clear coat BC/CC, and Light Spinnaker Blue (non-metallic), paint code
7A.
Colors being deleted are Silver Metallic, paint code 1E, and Light Regatta Blue Metallic, paint code 3V.
The new colors will be used in tutone combinations with Med. Charcoal Metallic, paint code 1B, and Silver Metallic, paint code 14, data plate codes
14/1B; Light Spinnaker blue, paint code 7A, and Dark Blue Metallic, paint code 3L, data plate codes 7A/3L.
The new colors are of a high solid formulation material. To repair these vehicles, use normal service paint procedures, materials, and techniques. The
following is a list of aftermarket paint supplier paint code numbers.
