Trim Panel: Service and Repair
B-Pillar Trim Panel
B-PILLAR TRIM PANEL
Removal and Installation
1. Remove the scuff plate trim panel.
2. Remove the lower B-Pillar trim panel.

Pull the lower B-Pillar trim panel toward the center of the vehicle to release the retaining clips.
3. Position the front seat forward for access.
4. Remove the front safety belt anchor-to-seat nut cover.
5. Remove the front safety belt anchor-to-seat nut.

To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
6. Remove the B-pillar screw cover.
7. Remove the B-pillar screw.
8. Remove the upper B-pillar trim panel.

Pull the lower portion of the upper B-pillar trim panel toward the center of the vehicle to release the retaining clips.

Lower the upper B-pillar trim panel from the headliner.

Separate the upper B-pillar trim panel from the front safety belt.
9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
C-Pillar Trim Panel
C-PILLAR TRIM PANEL
Removal and Installation
1. Remove the rear seat bolster.
2. Remove the C-pillar trim panel screw cover.
3. Remove the C-pillar trim panel screw.
4. Remove the lower C-pillar trim panel.

Pull forward on the lower C-pillar trim panel to separate from the upper C-pillar trim panel.

Position the lower C-pillar trim panel toward the inside of the vehicle.

Separate the lower C-pillar trim panel from the rear safety belt.
5. If equipped with side curtain air bags, remove the screw cover from the upper C-pillar trim panel.
6. If equipped with side curtain air bags, remove the screw from the upper C-pillar trim panel.
7. Remove the upper C-pillar trim panel.

Pull the front of the upper C-pillar trim panel down to release the retaining clips.

Pull the upper C-pillar trim panel toward the front of the vehicle to remove.
8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
D-Pillar Trim Panel
D-PILLAR TRIM PANEL
Removal and Installation
1. Remove the 3rd row safety belt anchor-to-floor bolt cover from the rear quarter trim panel.
2. Remove the 3rd row safety belt anchor-to-floor bolt.
-
To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
3. Remove the D-pillar trim panel.
-
Pull the D-pillar trim panel toward the inside of the vehicle to release the retaining tabs.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
